Xinyu Iron & Steel Co. Ltd. (XISCO), a leading Chinese special steel producer and subsidiary of China Baowu Group, has successfully rolled the first bar using its newly installed KOCKS RSB 370++/4. This advanced Reducing & Sizing Block (RSB) is part of XISCO’s state-of-the-art rolling mill complex in Xinyu City, Jiangxi Province, designed to enhance production capacity and precision.
The RSB 370++/4 serves as the finishing block in XISCO’s 560,000 tons per annum SBQ mill, rolling straight bars with diameters ranging from 20 to 90 mm. Positioned after 22 stands in an H/V arrangement, the 3-roll block delivers high precision, dimensional flexibility, and economic efficiency.
Equipped with KOCKS’ Remote Control system for automatic adjustments and BAMICON Octopus software to streamline roll shop processes, the RSB 370++/4 reflects XISCO’s commitment to quality and innovation.
