Celsa’s Global Steel Wire and Michelin partner to enhance sustainability in steel supply chain

Global Steel Wire, a part of Celsa Group, and Michelin, a leader in sustainable mobility, have entered into a collaboration agreement to enhance the circularity and sustainability of steel products supplied by Global Steel Wire to Michelin.

Under this agreement, Global Steel Wire will contribute to meeting Michelin’s requirements for increasingly sustainable materials by improving the quality of recycled feedstock and promoting the circularity of end-of-life tires.

The Global Steel Wire Group comprises Global Steel Wire S.A., which includes an electric furnace steel mill, a rolling mill, and the Wire Works Division consisting of six integrated downstream companies dedicated to wire rod processing.

Celsa Group, the parent company, operates seven steel mills, twelve rolling mills, and forty-five recycling plants. It also encompasses transformation and distribution companies, with a presence in Spain, France, the United Kingdom, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Poland, Italy, and Ireland.
