EMSTEEL supplies rebar for Abu Dhabi’s Zayed National Museum project

EMSTEEL, one of the region’s largest publicly listed steel and building materials companies, announced its contribution to the construction of the Zayed National Museum in Abu Dhabi’s Saadiyat Cultural District. The museum is a major cultural landmark dedicated to the legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, reflecting the UAE’s heritage, unity, and development journey.

During the three-year construction period, EMSTEEL supplied the core structural materials for the project, including about 24,000 tons of rebar, up to 25,000 direct block units, and nearly 100,000 tons of bulk cement, the company said.

Headquartered in Abu Dhabi, EMSTEEL has a production capacity of 3.5 mln tons of steel and 4.6 mln tons of cement annually. The group exports to over 70 markets, accounting for 30pct of its sales. The company offers a diverse range of steel products, including wire rod, rebar, heavy sections, and sheet piles.
