Tenaris, a leading global manufacturer and supplier of steel pipes for the energy industry, has made a strategic investment of USD 10 mln to acquire the oil and gas division of Isoplus. Isoplus is a renowned producer of pre-insulated pipeline systems for district heating and anti-corrosion coatings in Europe.
Following the acquisition, the acquired business unit has been rebranded as Tenaris Coating Italy. This specialized division focuses on providing top-notch anti-corrosion coatings specifically designed for oil and gas pipelines.
The application of these anti-corrosion coatings is carried out at Tenaris’s state-of-the-art facilities located in Italy, Mexico, Argentina, and Brazil.
With a consolidated production capacity exceeding six mln tons per year, Tenaris offers an extensive range of products, including casing and tubing, line pipes, and various mechanical and structural steel pipes for diverse applications within the industry.
