Newly released data from the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics indicates a significant decline in Pakistan’s finished steel imports in June 2023.
The imports of finished steel experienced a substantial YoY decrease, plummeting by 50 pct to 208,668 tons last month.
The data further highlights a 31 pct YoY drop in finished steel imports during the first half of 2023, with a total of 1.13 mln tons being imported.
