Nama Power and Water Procurement Company, the sole buyer of power and water output in the Sultanate of Oman, has prequalified nine international companies to participate in the competitive tender for the development of Ibri III Solar IPP, a 500 MW project estimated to cost more than USD 400 mln.
The prequalified parties including Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company (Masdar), ACWA Power, Al Riyadh National Trading and Korea Midland Power (KOMIPO), Jinko Power, Sembcorp Utilities, TotalEnergies Renewables, EDF Renouvelables and Korean Western Power (KOWEPO), International Power SA (Engie) and Sumitomo Corporation.
