    Vallourec secures major contract from TotalEnergies for deepwater project in Angola

    Vallourec, a global leader in premium tubular solutions, announced it has been awarded a contract by TotalEnergies to supply nearly 5,000 tons of OCTG solutions and services for the Kaminho deepwater project on Block 20, 100 km off the coast of Angola.

    For this project, Vallourec will provide its renowned VAM connections and CLEANWELL, an environmentally friendly, dope-free solution. The company will also offer offshore expertise through VAM Field Service and Tubular Management Services (TMS), which include managing tube inspection and preparation before and after drilling. The products will be manufactured at Vallourec plants in France, Brazil, and Indonesia.

    In Africa, Vallourec supports its customers with premium products and services in Nigeria, Gabon, Congo, and Mozambique. The group has also collaborated with TotalEnergies in exploration and appraisal campaigns in Namibia, supplying nearly 5,000 tons of tubes and connections. Vallourec, headquartered in Meudon, France, is a multinational manufacturing company with an annual worldwide production capacity of 3 mln tons of tubular products.
