Turkish steel manufacturer Kardemir has reduced billet prices, according to its latest price list.
The company is offering S235JR grade billets at USD 535 per ton EXW and B420 grade billets at USD 550 per ton EXW, down by USD 5 per ton from the previous sales round on July 25, 2024.
Founded in 1937, Kardemir is a major steel player in Turkey with a production capacity of 3.5 mln tons per year. The company’s product portfolio includes blooms, billets, rebars, profiles, and various other steel products, with manufacturing facilities strategically located in Karabuk.
