    Ministry begins EIA process for YC Inox’s SS pipe capacity expansion project in Kocaeli

    The Turkish Ministry of Environment and Urbanization has initiated the environmental impact assessment (EIA) process for YC Inox TR Celik, a Turkish subsidiary of Taiwan’s YC Inox, as part of its stainless steel pipe production capacity expansion project in Dilovasi, Kocaeli.

    The project, with a total investment of TRY 64.86 mln (USD 1.9 mln), aims to increase the plant’s production capacity from 20,000 tons per year to 75,000 tons per year.

    YC Inox TR Celik, established in 2019, began production in Turkey in 2022, specializing in the manufacturing of stainless steel pipes, tubes, and profiles.
