The Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology (MTCI) has signed an agreement for the Al Mughsail Road Bridge project in Salalah. The OMR 9 mln (USD 23.3 mln) project aims to enhance traffic flow from Salalah to western Dhofar.
The bridge will span 630 meters and be supported by 20 columns and two side pillars, each 13 meters high. It will feature six arches: two large ones at 45.9 meters high and four smaller ones at 35.9 meters.
The project includes the construction of an underpass to facilitate access to other tourist sites in the area.
