Ezz Steel, a leading Egyptian steel producer, has lowered its rebar prices for the domestic market.
The company is now offering rebar at EGP 38,200 (USD 789) per ton, down from the previous price of EGP 40,700 (USD 862) per ton EXW, with the exchange rate set at 47.3 EGP per USD at the time of pricing. This marks the first price adjustment since April 2024
Other rebar producers are currently offering in the range of EGP 35,000-38,000 (USD 723-785) per ton EXW.
