Turkey’s welded steel pipe exports increased by 11.6pct in the first eight months of 2024, totaling approximately 1.33 mln tons compared to the same period last year.
Romania emerged as Turkey’s largest market, with exports reaching 242,000 tons, a nearly 40pct YoY growth.
The UK ranked second, with exports rising by 18pct to around 115,600 tons. Exports to the US surged by 70pct, reaching 112,600 tons.
Other key markets included Iraq, with approximately 86,300 tons, and Belgium, with around 59,700 tons.
