Corinth Pipeworks boosts production capacity with strategic investments

Corinth Pipeworks, the steel pipes division of Cenergy Holdings, is enhancing its competitive edge through strategic investments aimed at increasing production capacity and efficiency.

To support its growing customer base and order backlog, the company has upgraded its operations by adding a dedicated finishing line in a separate covered area. Previously, the Longitudinal Submerged Arc Welding (LSAW) and Helical Submerged Arc Welding (HSAW) mills shared a single finishing line, causing production delays. The new setup allows both mills to operate independently, enabling simultaneous execution of two projects, improving flexibility, and reducing delivery times.

The upgrades focus on maximizing LSAW production for high-value offshore and onshore natural gas projects, as well as Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) pipelines. Meanwhile, the HSAW line targets large onshore gas and hydrogen trunklines.

Corinth Pipeworks, a division of Cenergy Holdings, is a supplier of high quality steel pipes for the energy and construction markets. The company’s plant is located in Thisvi, Viotia, Greece with an annual production capacity of 1 mln tons.
