Ashry Steel is set to launch its new USD 30 mln galvanizing and lighting poles factory in Sixth of October City next month, according to Sales Manager Mohamed Ali Gad. Spanning 45,000 square meters, the facility is projected to achieve an annual production capacity of 1 mln tons.
The company aims to expand its presence across Arab and African markets, focusing on countries such as Jordan, Morocco, Kenya, and Libya, leveraging the boost in production capacity. Gad added that Ashry Steel plans to export approximately 20pct of its production by the end of this year.
Established in 1983, Ashry Steel is a leading Egyptian steel producer with an annual production capacity of 2 mln tons. The company offers a diverse range of steel products, including rebar, merchant bars, and ERW welded tubes.
