Ezz Steel’s board of directors has appointed Hassan Ahmed Nouh as chairman, in addition to his role as managing director. Nouh succeeds the late chairman, Mamdouh El Rouby.
In a stock exchange filing, Ezz Steel announced that Nouh will hold both positions until the board presents a restructured composition to the company’s ordinary general assembly.
Ezz Steel operates four fully integrated steelmaking plants in Egypt with a combined production capacity of 7 mln tons of flat and long steel products annually.
