JSW Steel posted a 5pct YoY increase in consolidated crude steel production for November 2024, reaching 2.32 mln tons.
Within India, production increased by 7pct to 2.25 mln tons compared to 2.11 mln tons last year, with a capacity utilization rate of 94pct during November.
JSW Steel USA-Ohio recorded a drop in steel production, reaching 70,000 tons in November 2024 as compared to 90,000 tons in the same month last year.
JSW Steel, a major player in the integrated steel industry, boasts a total capacity of 29.7 mln tons per annum in India and the USA. The company aims for further expansion, targeting a total capacity of 38.5 mln tons per annum in India by FY25 as part of its next growth phase.
