Turkish steel producer Kardemir has lowered its billet prices, according to its latest price list.
The company’s new price for S235JR grade billets is USD 500 per ton EXW, a decrease of USD 10 per ton from last month’s announcement. Meanwhile, B420 grade billets are now priced at USD 510 per ton EXW, down USD 15 per ton from the rates announced on December 13, 2024.
Founded in 1937, Kardemir is a major steel player in Turkey with a production capacity of 3.5 mln tons per year. The company’s product portfolio includes blooms, billets, rebars, profiles, and various other steel products, with manufacturing facilities strategically located in Karabuk.
