Turkey exported around 3.1 mln tons of rebar in the first eleven months of 2024, a slight decrease of 0.5pct compared to the same period last year, according to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).
During January-November 2024, Yemen was the top destination for Turkish rebar, receiving 573,000 tons. Romania was the second-largest recipient, with 204,000 tons, followed by Albania with 200,000 tons.
In November 2024, Turkey’s rebar exports reached around 311,000 tons, marking an 11pct increase YoY and a 42pct rise compared to the previous month.
