Tenaris’s industrial facility in Abu Dhabi, Etihad Tubulars, has successfully completed the latest edition of the API Q1 certification, covering both its threading facility and the Rig Direct service center. Additionally, the threading line has been awarded the API 5CT license for casing and tubing.
The 200,000 square-meter industrial complex, the first of its kind in the UAE, highlights Tenaris’s commitment to supporting the country’s industrial development and enhancing services for ADNOC and the local energy sector.

We are delivering top-tier quality for our partners and customers in the Middle East,” said Juan Faranda, managing director of Tenaris’s industrial complex in Abu Dhabi.
Tenaris inaugurated Etihad Tubulars in February 2024, following a USD 60 mln investment. The facility includes an industrial training center, a pipe service yard for storage, inspection, and preparation of pipe products, and an advanced premium OCTG threading facility.
