Turkey’s wire rod exports reached 792,635 tons in Jan-Nov 2024, marking a 29.5pct increase YoY, according to data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).
During this period, Romania was the top destination for Turkey’s wire rod exports, receiving 237,516 tons. Australia followed with 72,477 tons, and Bulgaria came next with 66,952 tons.
In November 2024, Turkey’s wire rod exports totaled 26,514 tons, representing a 13.8pct decline compared to October and a significant 71.2pct drop YoY.
