Madkour Group, an Egyptian infrastructure developer, has secured a contract to build a significant grid station that will facilitate power evacuation from a new wind farm in Jaalan Bani Bu Ali, located in Oman’s Al Sharqiyah South Governorate.
The project is commissioned by Oman Electricity Transmission Company (OETC), which manages the national grid.
The contract involves the construction of a 132 kV grid station designed to support a wind farm with a capacity of 100 to 200 MW. Additionally, Madkour Group will install a 132 kV overhead line to connect the new grid station to the Al Jawabi substation.
