Al Seer Marine, a subsidiary of International Holding Company (IHC), and Damen International, part of the globally renowned Damen Shipyards Group, have expanded their joint venture, Dune, to include commercial shipbuilding. Established in 2022 with a focus on naval shipbuilding, this move marks a significant step in strengthening Dune’s position in the global maritime industry.
In addition to shipbuilding, Dune provides specialized services such as vessel management, project management for new builds, operational and financial business management, and international maritime business facilitation, including global sales and acquisitions of commercial and naval vessels from the UAE.
Dune will capitalize on Al Seer Marine’s advanced facilities in Abu Dhabi and the extensive shipyard network of Albwardy Damen in Sharjah, Fujairah, and Dubai, combining their expertise to drive growth in the maritime sector.
