Turkey exported approximately 1.87 mln tons of welded steel pipes during the first eleven months of 2024, an 8pct increase compared to the same period in 2023, according to data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).
Romania was the top destination during this period, receiving 328,000 tons, followed by the UK with 160,000 tons, Iraq with 148,000 tons, and the US with 126,000 tons.
In November 2024 alone, Turkey exported around 170,000 tons of welded steel pipes, reflecting a 9pct YoY increase and nearly 10pct growth compared to October 2024.
