Tenaris’s Abu Dhabi facility has been certified as an Industry 4.0 Digital Leader by the UAE’s Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT).
The certification highlights the company’s commitment to advanced technologies for greater efficiency, sustainability, and competitiveness in the UAE’s industrial sector, Tenaris said in a statement.
The recognition follows an assessment under MoIAT’s Industrial Technology Transformation Index (ITTI), the region’s first digital maturity tool. The evaluation showcased Tenaris’s leadership in digital transformation and its integration of cutting-edge solutions across its operations, the company said.
Tenaris inaugurated its Abu Dhabi industrial complex, Etihad Tubulars, last year. The industrial complex, situated in Abu Dhabi Industrial City (ICAD III) features an industrial training center and a pipe service yard dedicated to the storage, inspection, and preparation of pipe products; along with an advanced premium OCTG threading facility.
