Part of the Metal Engineering Division of Voestalpine AG, Voestalpine Bohler Welding offers a comprehensive range of welding consumables, equipment, accessories, and services. In India, the company employed approximately 250 people across its three locations in Bhiwadi, Thane (Mumbai), and Delhi during the 2023/24 business year. Over the past five years, it has invested over EUR 3 mln (USD 3.12 mln) to enhance its welding consumables production and strengthen its local application technology, providing more comprehensive customer service.
The company serves well-known Indian customers in industries such as energy (thermal power), construction (cranes, bridge building), chemical processing (welding of pressure vessels, pipes), cement, steel, and transportation (wagon manufacturing).
Globally, Voestalpine Bohler Welding operates in 34 locations across 22 countries. Last year, it acquired a majority stake in premium welding wire manufacturer ITALFIL S.p.A., expanding its portfolio in automated, high-quality welding technology.
