Vesuvius, a global leader in the refractory industry, has inaugurated new alumina-silica (AlSi) and basic monolithic manufacturing plants in Visakhapatnam, according to a company filing with the stock exchange.
These state-of-the-art facilities are part of Vesuvius’s continued investments in India to enhance production capabilities and meet the growing demand from the iron and steel sector. The launch follows the inauguration of a mould flux manufacturing plant in Visakhapatnam earlier in April, underscoring the company’s commitment to expanding its presence in the region.
