Abu Dhabi Ports Group has partnered with MAG Group Holding to develop the first phase of Marsa Zayed, a beachfront resort and residential community on the Red Sea in Aqaba, Jordan.
Marsa Zayed is a transformative project that will develop a 320-hectare section of beachfront into a tourism and business hub. MAG Group Holding was chosen as the lead developer for the project by AD Ports Group, the landowner and integrated trade, transport, and logistics group based in Abu Dhabi.
Backed by both the UAE and Jordanian governments, the Marsa Zayed project aims to strengthen Aqaba’s position as a regional tourism destination and a gateway for Red Sea travelers.
The first phase, spanning 1.2 kilometers of beachfront, will feature Zayed Riviera with four residential towers, a marina with approximately 1,260 residential units and 117 retail units, a hotel with apartments and a beach club, a marketplace with 50 retail shops, the restoration of the iconic Aqaba Minaret, a yacht club, and a visitors’ center.
