Saudi Arabia’s Al Yamamah Steel Industries announced that it has secured a SAR 176.48 mln (USD 47 mln) contract to supply steel towers, according to a filing on the Saudi stock exchange.
The contract was awarded by Arabian Electrical Transmission Line Construction Co. Ltd. and covers the supply of steel towers for the development of a 380 kV ultra-high-voltage transmission line in the Western region.
Deliveries are scheduled to begin in April 2026, with the financial impact expected to be reflected in the company’s results from the second quarter of 2026.
Al Yamamah Steel specializes in the manufacturing and sale of a variety of products including welded tubes, sheets, rebars, and three-dimensional space structures, primarily serving the buildings and infrastructure sector. The company also produces galvanized steel lighting and distribution poles, high mast structures, and galvanized steel lattice towers for the electrical and distribution industry. Its production facilities are strategically located in Jeddah, Dammam, and Yanbu.
