Arada has awarded a USD 735 mln package of contracts to deliver Masaar 2, the next phase of its forested megaproject located in Sharjah’s Rowdat district, the company said in a press release.
The scope covers the full construction of 1,997 homes across four phases, following recently completed enabling and site-preparation works. It also includes infrastructure development such as roads, utilities, public spaces, and full design and supervision by specialist consultants.
UAE-based Intermass will serve as the main contractor for phases 1, 3, and 4, while Pivot Engineering & General Contracting will oversee phase 2. First handovers are scheduled for 2027, with overall completion expected by June 2028.
