Arjas Steel commissions new ingot casting facility at Tadipatri plant

Indian special steel producer, Arjas Steel has successfully commissioned a new ingot casting facility at its Tadipatri plant, strengthening its strategy to expand into higher-value specialty and alloy steel applications.

The new facility is designed to produce high-quality steel ingots with enhanced metallurgical properties, supported by advanced casting technology, process automation, and stringent quality control systems. These capabilities will improve steel cleanliness, consistency, and chemical composition control, key requirements for demanding applications.

With the commissioning of the facility, Arjas Steel aims to better serve sectors such as automotive, engineering, energy, and infrastructure, supplying specialized steel grades for critical components including axles, shafts, gears, and other performance- and safety-sensitive parts. The addition also enhances product development flexibility, enabling closer collaboration with customers to deliver customized steel solutions tailored to specific end-use needs.

Arjas Steel is a special steel manufacturer primarily serving the automotive sector in India, with a combined production capacity of 500,000 tons per annum across its facilities in Tadipatri, Andhra Pradesh, and Mandi Gobindgarh, Punjab.
