Misr National Steel (Ataqa) reported a net profit of EGP 78.98 mln (USD 1.65 mln) for Q3 2025, down from EGP 160.42 mln in the same quarter last year, according to its financial results.
Despite the profit decline, quarterly sales rose to EGP 1.134 bln (USD 24 mln), compared with EGP 942.9 mln a year earlier.
For January-September 2025, the company recorded net income of EGP 141.31 mln (USD 2.96 mln), significantly lower than EGP 695.87 mln in the same period of 2024. Sales for the nine-month period, however, increased to EGP 5.27 bln (USD 110.5 mln) from EGP 3.71 bln last year.
Ataqa currently operates with an annual rebar capacity of 780,000 tons.
