Turkey’s construction sector confidence index edged down 0.5pct month on month to 84.5 in December 2025, according to data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).
By contrast, confidence in other sectors improved. The retail trade confidence index rose 1.1pct to 115.4, while the services sector index increased 0.4pct to 112.3, reflecting relatively stronger sentiment outside construction.
TUIK’s indices, measured on a scale of 0 to 200, reflect industry sentiment, with readings above 100 indicating optimism and those below 100 showing pessimism.
