EBS wins steel structure contract for Eaton manufacturing hub in Dubai

Emirates Building Systems (EBS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Dubai Investments, has been awarded the design, fabrication and installation of the complete steel structure for Eaton’s new advanced manufacturing and engineering centre in Jebel Ali Free Zone.

The 500,000-sq-ft facility forms part of Eaton’s regional expansion strategy and is aimed at strengthening high-tech manufacturing capabilities in the Middle East. The project also supports Dubai’s D33 economic agenda and reinforces the UAE’s position as a growing industrial hub.

Eaton announced the start of construction in October last year, marking the first phase of its 36,000-sq-metre sustainable manufacturing, engineering and training complex, developed in collaboration with JAFZA, the flagship free zone of DP World.

Founded in 1997, EBS specializes in designing, fabricating, and erecting high-quality steel structures. With an annual production capacity exceeding 75,000 tons, its portfolio includes hot-rolled structures for industrial facilities, high-rise buildings, bridges, built-up sections, and pre-engineered buildings.
