India’s Hi-Tech Pipes Limited has commenced commercial production at its Sikandrabad Unit-III greenfield plant in Uttar Pradesh.
The newly commissioned facility adds around 120,000 tons per year of capacity focused on ERW pipes and hollow sections, taking the company’s total installed capacity to around 1 mln tons per year.
The plant is equipped with modern manufacturing technology to support improved supply-chain efficiency and faster deliveries to infrastructure, construction, water distribution, fabrication and industrial segments, the company said.
Founded in 1985, Hi-Tech Pipes manufactures a wide range of steel pipes and tubes, including ERW round and section pipes, hollow sections and value-added products. The company operates eight integrated manufacturing facilities across Sikandrabad (Uttar Pradesh), Sanand (Gujarat), Hindupur (Andhra Pradesh), near Bengaluru, and Khopoli (Maharashtra), with a consolidated installed capacity of about 1.05 mln tons per year.
