Interpipe, a global producer of steel pipes and railway products based in Ukraine, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Abu Dhabi-based Ali & Sons Oilfield Supplies & Services (ASOS) to form a technical alliance during ADIPEC 2025.
Under the partnership, Interpipe will share technology and best practices to help ASOS expand its seamless pipe production capacity in Abu Dhabi. ASOS plans to implement a greenfield project to build an integrated pipe solutions complex spanning 200,000 m2, with an annual capacity of 250,000 tons of seamless pipes to meet growing demand in the MENA region and beyond.
ASOS currently operates from a 20,000 m2 facility in Abu Dhabi equipped for offshore, onshore, and oilfield operations, including a private jetty. Interpipe supplies its products to over 50 countries through a global network and delivered 511,000 tons of pipes and 115,000 tons of railway products in 2024.
