Turkish steel producer Kardemir has launched a new round of billet sales, according to its latest price list.
The company maintained the price of S235JR grade billets at USD 530 per ton EXW, while raising the price of B420 grade billets by USD 10 per ton to USD 555 per ton EXW, compared to the prices announced on September 11, 2024.
Founded in 1937, Kardemir is a major steel player in Turkey with a production capacity of 3.5 mln tons per year. The company’s product portfolio includes blooms, billets, rebars, profiles, and various other steel products, with manufacturing facilities strategically located in Karabuk.
