Turkish integrated long steel producer Kardemir has announced changes to its senior management in a notification to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP).
According to the statement, the company’s General Manager, Dr. Dursunali Yasacan, stepped down from his position effective December 19, 2025. Following his departure, Kardemir’s Board of Directors appointed Niyazi Askin Peker as the new General Manager.
In addition, the Board appointed Dr. Mustafa Kucukali on a permanent basis as Deputy General Manager for Human Resources and Administrative Affairs, filling a previously vacant position.
Established in 1937, Kardemir is a key player in Turkey’s steel industry, with a 3.5 mln tons annual production capacity. The company manufactures billets, blooms, rebars, profiles and other steel products at its Karabuk-based facilities.
