Turkish steelmaker Kardemir has launched a new billet sales round, trimming prices by USD 5 per ton from its previous offers issued on December 17, 2025.
Under the latest offer, the company’s S235JR billets are offered at USD 500 per ton EXW, while B420 billets are offered at USD 510 per ton EXW.
Market sources said the mill concluded the round after securing sizeable order volumes.
Established in 1937, Kardemir is a key player in Turkey’s steel industry, with a 3.5 mln tons annual production capacity. The company manufactures billets, blooms, rebars, profiles and other steel products at its Karabuk-based facilities.
