Turkey’s leading steel producer Kardemir has lowered prices for steel sections, according to its latest price list.
Prices for IPE-NPU sections in sizes 180-550 mm were reduced by USD 10-15 per ton to USD 665-750 per ton EXW, compared with levels announced in October. The price of IPE 600 was also cut by USD 10, bringing it to USD 790 per ton EXW.
For HEA-HEB sections in sizes 120-500 mm, Kardemir adjusted prices to USD 680-790 per ton EXW, down from the previous range of USD 705-800 per ton.
Founded in 1937, Kardemir operates from Karabuk with an annual production capacity of 3.5 mln tons, producing blooms, billets, rebars, profiles, and other steel products.
