Turkish modular solutions manufacturer Karmod has completed the installation of container-based worker camp structures at a gold mining exploration site near Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the company said.
The project includes container units used as offices, dormitories and laboratories, designed to support exploration activities in challenging desert conditions. Karmod said the structures were engineered to withstand sandstorms and high wind loads, with reinforced connections and insulation systems to prevent dust ingress.
As part of the project, 52 independent container units were manufactured, shipped in disassembled form, and installed on site in groups of five and six across different locations within the mining area.
