Kirac Galvaniz inks contract to supply lighting poles for highway project

Turkey’s Kirac Galvaniz has signed a USD 1.05 mln, excluding VAT contract with FNS Otoyol Yatirim ve Isletme, a Turkish infrastructure company, for the production and delivery of lighting poles tied to the Ankara-Kirikkale-Delice highway Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) project in Turkey, according to the company’s stock exchange filing.

The agreement covers the manufacture and supply of a fixed number of highway lighting poles as part of infrastructure work for the major tolled route. The contract represents the first commercial output from a newly commissioned production unit that the company recently brought into operation as part of its ongoing capacity expansion and diversification strategy.

Kirac Galvaniz is a Turkish industrial company established in 2006 and headquartered in Bursa, specializing in hot-dip galvanizing, steel road restraint systems, and solar energy infrastructure. The company has a metal processing and galvanizing capacity of 200,000 tons per annum.
