Lamprell has secured an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract from Dubai Petroleum for the Margham gas storage and processing facility, part of the Dubai Supply Authority’s Sunrise Development Programme, the company said.
The project supports planned capacity expansion to meet rising gas demand and facilitate the integration of renewable energy for end users across the UAE. Lamprell’s scope covers civil works, pipe rack structures and associated infrastructure installation, and will be executed by its onshore division, in line with the group’s strategy to grow onshore EPC capabilities.
Lamprell provides EPCI services to the international energy sector across oil and gas and offshore wind. The group operates major facilities in Hamriyah and Jebel Ali in the UAE, with additional offices in India and Saudi Arabia, and a presence in Saudi Arabia through its joint venture at the International Maritime Industries (IMI) yard.
