Lenovo is nearing completion of one of its largest and most advanced manufacturing facilities in Riyadh, marking a key milestone in its regional expansion. Developed in partnership with ALAT, a subsidiary of Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF), the 200,000 sqm site is located at Riyadh Integrated within the Special Integrated Logistics Zone (SILZ), according to a report by Asharq Al-Awsat.
The facility, Lenovo’s most comprehensive globally, will integrate production lines for desktops, laptops, smartphones, and servers, producing millions of devices under the “Made in Saudi Arabia” label.
Chief Financial Officer Winston Cheng said construction is nearly finished, with pilot production scheduled for December and full operations expected in the second half of 2026. Lenovo has imported 10,000 tons of steel for the project and installed 12 MW of rooftop solar panels to meet sustainability and ESG standards, he added.
