Abu Dhabi-based NMDC Energy has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with CITIC Steel, China’s second-largest steel producer, the company said in a stock-exchange filing.
NMDC Energy noted that the partnership reinforces its commitment to securing high-quality, reliable steel supplies for its major energy projects.
The company also announced the inauguration of its Taiwan branch and Shanghai commercial office, marking a key step in its international expansion strategy. The new offices aim to strengthen supply-chain resilience, deepen strategic vendor relationships, improve proximity to major projects, and enhance access to future opportunities across Southeast Asia.
NMDC Energy provides engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services to the oil and gas sector, offering fabrication, onshore and offshore installation, and commissioning work, primarily across the Arabian Gulf and regional markets.
