India’s state-owned NMDC Ltd produced 5.01 mln tons of iron ore in November 2025, up 11pct from 4.51 mln tons a year earlier, according to a stock exchange filing. Monthly iron ore sales increased 4.25ct YoY to 4.1 mln tons.
For April-November FY26, NMDC’s iron ore production rose to 31.48 mln tons compared with 26.06 mln tons in the same period last year, while sales climbed 8.7pct to 30.28 mln tons.
NMDC operates three fully mechanized mines in Chhattisgarh and Karnataka, with an annual production capacity exceeding 45 mln tons.
