Pakistan imported 335,526 tons of steel scrap in November 2025, up 15.6pct YoY from 290,294 tons in the same month last year, according to data from the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS).
However, scrap imports declined by 12pct compared with the previous month.
In the first eleven months of 2025, Pakistan’s total steel scrap imports reached 3.2 mln tons, representing a 17pct increase compared with the same period last year.
