SENAAT’s Egyptian unit partners with Elegancia Steel on Baladna Algeria project

Saudi Arabia’s Advanced Building Industries Co. (SENAAT), formerly Zamil Industrial Investment Company, said its Egyptian subsidiary, Zamil Structural Steel Co., has secured a contract to design, fabricate, and supply steel structures and insulated panel cladding for the Baladna Algeria project, in partnership with Qatar-based Elegancia Steel, according to a stock exchange filing.

The award is part of the initial contract package for the Baladna Algeria project, a major food security investment aimed at developing a large-scale milk powder production facility. The contract is valued at SAR 348.655 million (USD 93 mln), excluding VAT.

SENAAT operates two manufacturing plants in Egypt, serving markets across Africa and Southern Europe.

Established in 1998 and headquartered in Dammam, SENAAT manufactures pre-engineered steel buildings, structural steel, and HVAC systems for commercial, industrial, and residential applications.
