Steelco Technologies of the UAE, in partnership with Haddeko Iron Trade, has begun construction of a new cut-and-bend steel manufacturing facility in ICAD 1, Mussafah, Abu Dhabi.
The plant will be equipped with advanced Italian Schnell machinery and is designed to strengthen local manufacturing capacity and support the UAE’s construction and industrial sectors. Once commissioned, the facility is expected to have a production capacity of around 8,000 tons per month, serving construction, infrastructure, and industrial projects across Abu Dhabi, the wider UAE, and the GCC.
Construction is scheduled to be completed within five to six months, with production to start shortly thereafter. The facility aims to improve supply-chain efficiency, shorten lead times, and deliver consistent cut-and-bend steel products in line with international standards.
The partnership combines Steelco Technologies’ manufacturing capabilities with Haddeko Iron Trade’s market presence, supporting the UAE’s broader industrial development and economic diversification objectives.
