Tenaris has acquired the oilfield division of Canada-based AllTorque, a manufacturer of tubular running technology, as part of efforts to enhance its OCTG service offering.
The acquisition builds on an existing collaboration between the two companies and will support the development of Tenaris’s WISer solutions, aimed at improving well integrity and operational efficiency for Rig Direct customers.
AllTorque, based in Red Deer, Alberta, specializes in torque turn monitoring systems used in tubular running operations. Its technology will be integrated with Tenaris’s expertise in tubular products and field services to improve data collection and performance during well construction.
Tenaris is a global manufacturer of steel pipes and related services for the energy industry, supplying tubular products and technical solutions for oil and gas drilling, production and industrial applications.
