Tenaris has opened a new service center in Fort St. John, British Columbia, located in the Montney Formation, one of North America’s largest natural gas regions and a key area supporting Canadas LNG developments.
The facility was completed on time and within budget and will serve regional customers through Tenaris’s Rig Direct service model. The company said the integrated approach for OCTG pipes and accessories is designed to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs and enhance reliability and well integrity for oil and gas operators.
From the northeastern British Columbia yard, Tenaris will also provide technical and digital solutions such as RunReady service, ensuring pipes arrive at the rig ready for installation. This includes inspection, accessory assembly and field tally preparation, supported by Tenaris’s PipeTracer system, which provides full pipe-by-pipe traceability from the mill to the well.
